英语学习、英语教学越来越受到人们的普遍重视。随着时代的发展和社会的进步,英语 已从一种工具变成了一种思想,一种知识库。没有掌握英语犹如缺乏一种思想,缺少了一个 重要的知识源泉。可以这样说,学会英语,不但多了一双眼睛,一对耳朵,和一条舌头,甚 至是多了一个头脑!因为语言是人类思维的工具,认识世界的工具,掌握一种语言也即掌握 了一种观察和认识世界的方法和习惯。
从日常工作中的点点滴滴,总结以下几点反思:
一、靠持续不断的语言知识,而不是“玩”来培养学生持久的兴趣
小学英语教学是要重视培养兴趣,但单靠唱歌游戏不能培养学生持久的兴趣。新鲜劲儿 一过,孩子们就会厌倦。所以,唱歌游戏应该作为小学生学习英语语言知识、技能的一些手 段,而不是培养兴趣的手段。我们可以采用多种手段帮助小学生在记忆力强的时期多记单词,多学习语言规则,并尽可能多创造模仿的机会,提高学生的语音和语调。在英语学习中,听、说、读、写、译五种能力是可以互补的。真正做到听说先行,读写跟上。光听说不读写,很 难收到高效。只靠模仿不培养学习能力,也难减轻学习负担。所以小学生还是应当认真进行 语言学习。
二、英语应用能力需要相应的词汇。
而目前在小学的低年级的英语教学中,不要求学生掌握词汇,而只要求学生能根据提示 或图片说出该单词,其本质无非是要学生们死记硬背,鹦鹉学舌。由于小学生们没有相应的 读音规则训练,不熟悉词汇的拼写规则,单词的音、形、意三者不能有效的结合在一起,因 而导致了单词记忆的困难,并成了小学生学英语的困难。
三、努力培养学习兴趣。
英语教师的教学重点是放在教学内容,教学大纲和考试形式上呢,还是将教学注重点转 移到学生的性格、兴趣、情绪等方面的培养和控制?这是,现代教育思想转变的重大原则问 题。事实证明,认为自己“民主、开放、平静、友好、体贴、乐于助人、聪明、富于逻辑性 和快乐”的人,一般来说,其学习英语成功的可能性要大于与上述性格相反或相差极大的学习者。另外,在外语学习过程中,由于外界因素的影响,学习者会出现焦虑沮丧烦躁不安等 情况,英语教师作为教学活动的组织者,应注意对外语学习者情感因素的培养和控制。尤其 是在小学的低年级阶段,英语教师要培养对学生的亲近感。在课堂教学中英语教师要十分尊 重学生,注意激励学生,关注学生学习过程。在当前“减负”工作中,英语教师尤其要注意 体察学生在课堂上的心理感受,亲近学生,使学生喜爱英语教师和英语课,从而提高英语课 堂教学的效益。

一、教学设计说明
1、基本理念
基础教育阶段英语课程的任务之一是:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略;发展自主学习的能力和合作精神,使学生掌握一定的综合语言运用的能力;培养学生的观察、记忆、思维想象能力和创新精神。
2、整体设计思路
本节课的教学设计以提高学生的综合素质为目的,以学生发展为本,面向全体学生。在探索新知时,真正体现学生的主体地位;培养和激发学生学习英语的兴趣和自信心,充分利用多媒体进行多样化的操练和游戏活动。注重语言信息的输出量,让学生在玩中学、乐中练,愉快地掌握所学内容。
二、教学分析
1、教学内容分析
本节课是《国家英语课程标准》指导下,外语教学与研究出版社编写的《新标准英语》(供一年级起始用)第三册Module 6。我将其顺序打乱,把九个短语:do homework, draw, go swimming, watch TV, play football, read books, ride bike, play the flute, wash clothes, 以及句型What do you do at the weekend? 并做出回答 I …安排为第一课时,这样学生更容易掌握,也为学习下面的第三人称打下基础。
2、教学对象分析
本节课的教学对象为二年级学生,在生理与心理上,学生注意力易分散,表现欲望强烈,有强烈的好奇心。所以,我采用直观、生动的手段,采用多种方法,激励学生的学习兴趣,发挥学生的主动性和主体性。
三、教学目标
根据新课程标准的要求,以及对教材及内容的分析,结合学生生理和心理的特点,将本课的教学目标确定为:
1、知识目标(1)能够听、说、认读九个weekend activities 的短语do homework, draw,go swimming, watch TV, play football, read books, ride bike, play the flute, wash clothes。
(2)能够运用句型What do you do at the weekend? I …。
2、技能目标
(1)在教学实践的过程中,能够熟练地谈论周末所做的一些事情,提高英语表达水平。
(2)注重开展师生相互交流的双边活动,倡导学生体验、参与、合作与交流的学习方式,使学生主动参与学习活动,乐于与他人交流。
3、情感、态度与价值观目标
(1)激发学生自主学习的热情,培养听说能力,观察能力,保持对英语学习的可持续兴趣。
(2)培养学生探求知识的精神,并灌输他们热爱生活的品德。
四、教学重点难点
1、教学重点
本课教学重点是能够听、说、认读周末活动的九个短语。
2、教学难点
掌握并使用句型What do you do at the weekend? I …。最终达到实际运用语言的能力。
五、教学媒体的选择和应用
本节课充分利用多媒体资源,给学生以形象、直观的信息,使知识的呈现生动、趣味、形象,从而提高教学质量和学习效率,不断激发学生的创造性思维。
六、教学过程设计
[创设情景 巧妙导入](1)唱歌曲“ The Days of the Week ”。(2)Duty Report.(自评:通过课前的英文歌曲和Duty Report,使学生进入英语环境,同时也对学生进行了英语思维的训练,又为本课所学内容做了铺垫。)[通过旧知 展开教学]

学习短语ride bike,教师可利用形象直观的多媒体以及肢体语言来讲授,同时渗透本课难点句型What do you do at the weekend? 引导学生说句子I ride my bike.T: I like sports, and my favourite sport is swimming.Do you like swimming? Ss: Yes.T: At the weekend I go swimming.(学习短语go swimming, 引导学生说句子I go swimming.并给予鼓励,提高学生学习英语的兴趣。短语Play football 同上)T:I like PE, and I like music, too.So I play the flue.(学习方法同上)
(在学习draw一词时,可进一步询问学生What do you draw? 使语言得到扩展,同时,锻炼了学生的思维能力。再以I am tired.引出短语watch TV 并引导学生说句子。)

Ss: No.(引出短语do homework 并扩展句型I do my homework.You do your homework.再以Finished your homework you’d better read books.引出短语read books.T: At the weekend, I am very busy and tired, but my clothes are dirty.I must wash clothes.(自评:在本课中所要掌握的共有九个短语,内容较多。如果逐个地教师教,学生学,那样会比较枯燥。我考虑到学生生理和心理的特点把这九个短语串成一条线,在动一动、说一说中轻松地学习。这样不仅提高了学生的兴趣,调动了学生的积极性,而且能够很自然地、愉快地去学习。)[巩固新知 加强训练] T: Boys and girls, you are all clever children.Do you know them?
教师把本课的重点短语一起展示在大屏幕上, 以巩固所学的内容。(自评:由于内容比较多,所以我在讲授完九个短语后,把重点短语一起展示在屏幕上,不仅达到了巩固练习的目的,而且能够初步检查学生对知识的理解。)
学生已经掌握了本课的难点,理解了其含义,这时教师可以询问学生我们应该在什么时间做这些事情,引出本课难点。

(自评:What do you do at the weekend? I…是本课的难点,所以我通过循序渐进的方法,逐步学习weekend,at the weekend, what do you do at the weekend? 由易到难。这样不仅能够轻松地解决难点,而且也培养了学生的探究精神。)

为了更好地解决本课的难点,我让学生自由地询问其他学生的周末活动。

教师可先询问一名学生What do you do at the weekend? 并让学生根据自己的实际回答,再进行接龙问答,使每个学生在接龙问答中增加思维的灵活性,从而得到相应的发展。
(自评:打破小组限制,把小组活动还原成班级内自由交流的活动,在交流中,教师可适当地对学生进行评价,有效地增强了学生的自信心,激发了学生想要学习,开口说英语的欲望。)[知识巩固 拓展练习] 为了更好地掌握所学内容,我利用多媒体,进行Listen and draw √or×的练习。学生一起询问电脑What do you do at the weekend? 教师点击,播放声音,学生可根据图片及所听到的内容是否一致,进行判断。

孩子们都喜欢做游戏,所以,我特意设计了此游戏,以激励孩子的学习兴趣。大屏幕出现九个数字,每个数字后都有一个短语,让学生任选其一,并猜一猜每个数字后是什么。猜对的给予奖励。
