国外大学的开学时间不尽相同，但对于9、10月份开学的一些国家来说，国内这批拿到签证的准留学生们已经开始在紧张地打点行装了。留学的行囊里应该收拾些什么？走出国门的第一步，怎样才能从容自若？对即将来临的留学生活该有什么样的准备呢？

一 心理准备要做足

离开自己生活了十几年的地方，来到一个完全陌生的国家，这对留学生的生

理、心理无疑都是一个巨大的考验。所以在临出国门前一定要调整好自己的心态。一般来说，初到国外，学生最容易产生的就是孤独感和挫折感了，这是由于语言障碍、生活习惯的差异和自身对困难的估计和自信心不足造成的。所以要求留学生在出国前就要把各种可能发生的情况都想到，有意识地让自己处理自己遇到的问题，多面对一些挑战，在独立的环境下自己寻找解决问题的方法。大到了解留学国家的文化历史，小到图书馆怎么用，公共汽车怎么坐……其实了解得越清楚，准备得越充足，心里就越有底，出国后的生活也就越顺利。

二 健康准备必不可少

留学目的地国家的自然环境、气候特点、食品和饮用水都与国内不尽相同，水土不符很容易生病。只身一人在国外生病可不比国内，所以，建议准留学生们应加强锻炼，强健自己的体魄。其次，出国前还应再做一次详尽的体检，生理、肌体的不适应尽量在国内医治好。即便是轻微的感冒也不要拖到国外。尤其值得一提的是，如果你的牙齿有问题，建议你在国内提前治好，因为在国外看牙科需要花费很大一笔费用。

三 行李准备力求精简

在准备出国留学的行李时，大可不必面面俱到，带上一些国外难买或者价高的必需品，不失为最明智的做法。

首先，必备的药物是不能少的。刚到国外，由于时差、水土不同等原因，容易产生一些身体上的不适，所以建议准备一些治疗上火、拉肚子和头疼感冒等的常用药品。

其次,就是准备衣服了。这也是箱子里所占空间最大的一部分。在准备衣服时，除了日常经常穿的衣服以外，最好带上正装和皮鞋。因为在西方国家，宴会或者聚会这样的场合会经常用到。特别是出国读商科的同学，很多时候在课堂上做演讲，都是要求穿正装的。

再次，对于需要佩戴眼镜的同学最好在国内做好准备，多配两副眼镜或者隐形眼镜。因为在国外配眼镜和买隐形眼镜的价格通常比国内高出不少。
