一、情境导入

3、让两个同学到台前来，一个胖的，一个瘦的。自己说：I’m thin ,I’m fat.让学生猜猜什么意思？学生猜到后。今天我们学习Module2 Unit2 That man is short.二、集中识词
1.找几组高矮，胖瘦的同学，或几个物品介绍他们的特征来呈现,出示单词卡片tall short big small fat thin，2.学生认读单词卡片，师领读再优生领读，小组内用单词卡片，小组长负责教会本组成员。3.开火车比赛，把全班分为四组比赛。一人读一个单词，不重复。老师展示卡片，学生一个个的读。
4.游戏：老师和学生一起边做动作边说 tall short big small fat thin.让学生理解它的含义，5.说出反义词：老师边做动作边说big，让学生边做动作边说small老师边做动作边说tall 让学生边做动作边说short 训练学生的反应能力。

(2)教师打开２６个字母的挂图，指任一字母，学生抢答。如果学生回答准确，发音标准，可当小老师，令全班朗读，并“开火车“检查学生发音，如不正确教师应立即指出。强调舌的部位，特别是强调Ｇ和Ｊ，Ｉ和Ｒ的发音。
(3)操练
教师迅速手说字母，学生比赛“point to”,然后同桌互相玩

首先，学生唱以前所学的歌曲，然后教师告诉学生：今天要听的字母歌与以前不同，大家注意听有什么区别呢？
