但是另一方面，我们也要考虑到一些支持该传统民俗继续传承者的意见。传统文化是我国几千年来历史文化的积淀，春节燃放烟花爆竹就是我们传统节日的一种习俗。作为一种习俗，我们更多的应该是将这种文化和习俗集成和发扬下去，而不是一味的去限制甚至禁止。

综合以上两种观点。春节期间燃放烟花爆竹是一项应该保持的习俗。鉴于在城市燃放烟花爆竹所带来的伤害，我认为，政府在政策的执行上要更加的人性化，不是单纯的禁止或者开放，比如北京从1993年，“禁放”规定出台，到2005年底，北京市修改规定，以“限放令”取代“禁放令”，五环路以内地区可在规定时间内燃放，这都是政策制定上的一步步完善。甚至对于“限放令”，我建议，可以根据各城市实际情况，把“限放令”，“限”的更加具体，更加合理。比如限定的时间、地点要更加符合当地的实际情况。其目的就是要在保障安全和尊重传统民俗之间找到一个平衡点。

从烟花爆竹的禁止与解禁，我们也可以看出，作为公务人员，在看待问题时，要客观、全面。同时各级政府在制定政策时，要提高政策的科学化和民主化，使各项政策经得起推敲，对得起百姓的信任。
