2007～2008学年第一学期工作总结

教研室本期主要从以下几个方面开展了教学与教研活动：

1．抓好常规教学

组织教研室老师继续进一步认真学习学院及有关部门下发的相关文件，认真研讨课程教学大纲、质量标准及有关资料，探讨大学英语教学规律，加强教学管理，提高教学质量，避免教学事故的发生；要求老师们要有敬业精神，认真准备每一堂课，写好每一份教案；严格要求自己和学生，为人师表，做学生的楷模。努力为学院在教育部关于本科教学水平评估工作中达到良好目标而做好各项工作，添砖作瓦。

2．认真做好新进教师的“老带新”培养工作

本期教研室共新引进教师5人：朱誉、张丹、石蕊、杨莉红、黄伟红，教研室根据他们各自的具体实际情况安排何小阳、唐祖莲、张迎波、毛帅梅和何小阳等老师分别对他们进行“老带新”培养工作，要求新老教师共同写出培养计划，并且按照学院及系部的有关规定认真进行传帮带工作。经过一个学期的“传帮带”，教研室新引进的教师基本上站稳了讲台。

3.开展集体备课与研讨

本期06级本科班级使用的教材是《全新版大学英语综合教程》第三册。虽然已有本册教材的集体教案，但还是计划组织教研室老师根据以往的教学情况及教学经验，进一步对如何处理该教材、如何组织各教学环节和开展教学开展讨论，各抒己见，博采众长，通过集体备课和讨论，进一步完善本册教案，而且完成本册的电子教案并装订成册。

4.配合院系等部门，组织好“精彩一课”活动及有关迎评工作

本期第11周学院迎来了教育部对我院的本科教学工作水平的评估工作。为达到学院评估工作“良好”目标，根据学院及系部的有关安排，组织教研室所有老师积极投入到“精彩一课”活动，要求所有老师就评估当周各自的授课内容进行反复讲练，讲练结束后进行评议，展开教学讨论，相互学习，取长补短，以不断提高教师的教学水平，确保在评估中不出问题；组织老师认真学习有关评估知识，对在自查及有关部门的检查中发现的问题不断进行整改；按要求做好教研室各方面的工作，积极认真地配合好了学院的评估工作。

5．举行英语第二课堂活动

1）利用英语电台，安排人员大力播放各种英语听力磁带（《全新大学英语》、《新视野大学英语视听说》、《走出牛津》、《疯狂英语》、美国之音、英语故事、英语散文、歌曲等），以提高学生的英语听力能力；2）协助、指导院团委有关英语社团举行各种英语活动；3）组织学生参加有关省、市、院、系等举办的各种比赛活动；4）继续争取学院有关部门进一步的更多支持，联合大学英语第一教研室更加丰富学生的英语第二课堂：继续定期举行了英语角、经典英文影视欣赏、英语手抄报等活动，进一步培养了学生们对英语的兴趣。

6．继续开展制作多媒体课件的活动

本期安排老师共同完成了《全新大学英语》第三册的多媒体课件。

7．组织课程期末统考工作

为了加强课程考试工作及阅卷工作的科学管理，本室一如既往地在院教务处及系部的统一安排下，于本期末分统招本科、艺术和专科专业及应院四个层次进行了课程期末统考工作，并且统一严格要求阅卷工作，取得了较好的结果。

时间如射箭一般，一去而不返。转眼间，英语第二单元考完了。我考得一般，有人可能会问我，考了一百分，怎么自己还会说考得一般呢？那是因为我有一些地方还是有一些很含糊的地方，恰巧蒙对了，所以我觉得自己做得还不够。

我为什么考那么高分，是因为我有一个成功秘诀。

每天阅读一篇英语阅读，要把那篇课文理解透彻，并翻译一遍，把里面的生词记录在一本本子上，每天早晨背一背。这样可以比别人提前一遍学这些生词。以后在考试的时候遇见了这些生词就不再被它所惧怕了。

每天早晨或晚上抽出五至十分钟把英语书后面的单词表中的单词背一背，还有老师讲的句型和比较重要的地方也背一背。

提高成绩还有几种方法。

一、每天认真听老师讲课，积极举手发言。作业完成一定要认真，不能马马虎虎地敷衍了事，如果作业没做好，没有关系。只要上课认真听讲，相信你一定行的！

二、背单词要掌握方法。有三大方法：

（1）拆分记忆法，把一个单词拆成2-3个小单词，这样背就行了。例如：“magazine”这个单词可以拆成“ma”〞ga” “zine”这三个小单词，这样被单词就快多了。

（2）死记硬背法，每天早晨把自己不熟练的单词抄写到一本小本子上，每天读2-3遍。

（3）根据拼音写单词，例如“supermarket”这个单词可以音标来背。

我相信，在下个月当中，我一定会再创辉煌的，争取在下个月当中取得更优异的成绩的！如果你们按我这个方法来背就一定会提高英语学习成绩的！
