四、交际用语
What day is it today?今天是星期几?
这句话也可以说成:
What day of the week is it today?
应答时,一般用it's...这个句型。例如:
It's Wednesday today.今天是星期三。
如果询问明天是星期几,将today改为tomorrow即可。例如:
What day is it tomomow?明天星期几?
It's Thursday tomorrow.明天是星期四。

1·唱“The Days of the Week”这首歌。老师通过与学生问答,进一步练习。

这种问答要在以后的教学中坚持下去,使学生通过不断重复的手段,达到记住、记牢的2.教师拿出那张 店的图片和两张写好单词的卡片,教本课第干部分单词。
放课文第一部分录音,教师板书以下问题:
Is the shop open or closed?
3.教师走到一个学生旁,说:Excuse me.Do you have an eraser?
放一至两遍录音,学生回答黑板上的问题。打开书,再放录音,学生跟读两至三遍。启发这个学生答出,Yes,I do.T:(做出要借用一下的姿态)Can I borrow it,please?
S:Certainly,Here you are.(做出相应动作。)
启发全班猜这句话的意思。然后板书这两句话,领读生词。启发这位同学应答。T:Thank you.S:You're welcome.和另外一位同学再表演类似的对话,便会班看清全过程。反复领读对话中几个关键句子。再请一位英语较好的同学,告诉他按刚才的步骤,从老师手里借钢笔。在老师启发、帮助下,这位同学与老师引出以下对话:
S:Excuse me.Do you have a pen?
T:Yes,I do·
S:Can I borrow it,please?
T:Certainly.Here you are.S:Thank you·
T:Not at all.(解释这个句子的意思。)But please give it back soon.(再予以解释)。
教师领读这两个新出现的句子,反复几遍。然后,老师手拿橡皮,走到另一位学生前,大声说:Hello!Here is your eraser.Thank you very much.
启发这位学生说:Not at all.
再启发刚才从教师这里借走钢笔的同学,用相似的方法还回。
4·放课文第二部分录音。学生跟读两至三遍。两人一组,利用手中的学习用具进行问答。叫两组同学表演。
5·指导学生按课文第三部分的要求,两人一组练习,并做练习册习题。
6.布置作业
1)抄写生词;2)练习朗读本课对话,划出表示借物、感谢及应答的用语;3)完成练习册习题。四;交际用语
l.at this time of day在这个钟点(或:在这个时间)。
本课出现的这个短语,表示说话人认为商店不可能在这个钟点开门营业,所以他说: think the shop is closed at this time of day.我想商店在这个钟点是关门的。
2·give it/them back…·把它/它们送还……
it和them是代词,指上文提到过的名词。例如:
A:Can I borrow you rruler?我能借用你的尺子吗?
B:Certainly·But please give it back soon.可以。不过请快点还给我。
3.to be open/closed开(关)门(指商店)。
open和closed在这里都是形容词。open表示开着的,在课文中指商店开门营业;closed表示关着的,指商店关门。例如:
A:It's Sunday today.Is the shop closed?今天是星期日,商店关门吗?
B:I don't think so.I think it's open.Let's go and see.不会吧。我想商店开门营业,咱们去看看。open还可用作及物动词。意为:打开。例如:
Will you please open the door for me?请你帮我打开门好吗?
第五十九课Lesson Ninety-five
一、教学内容

2.再请一位同学到前面,让他(她)用正确的英语向老师借尺子用。

T:Sorry,I don't have one.Ask…(另一同学姓名)
重复一两遍,让全班猜这句话意思。教师板书这句话并解释,反复领读。
3·放课文第一段录音。教师先板书以下问题,l)Who has a ruler?2)Is it a big ruler?
放录音一至两遍,学生回答黑板上的问题。教师解释Thanks a lot.的意思。再放录音,学生跟读两至三遍。
4·指导学生3人一组,模仿这部分对话进行小组练习。练习时,换上真实的人名。使用的东西可更换成钢笔、橡皮等其他学习用具。请两组同学到前面表演(小组练习时,可让同学们参阅课文第二部分)。
5·做课文第3部分的听力练习。打开练习册,边听录音边要求学生做习题1。放3遍录音,然后核对答案。
6·指导学生做练习册其他习题。

第九十六课Lesson Ninety-six
一、教学内容

四、难点讲解
Do you have an eraser?你有橡皮吗?
在第十五单元,我们初步学习了have的用法,它表示“有,持有”。其否定式借助don't。例如:
I don't have a watch.我没有手表。
如果改为疑问句,则在句首加助动词do。例如:
Do you have a watch? 你有手表吗?
如果句子的主语是单数第三人称形式,如:he,she等,动词have就要改为has。例如:Meimei has a yellow school bag·美美有个黄书包。
其否定式和疑问式可借助does.

Invite some pairs of students to present this conversation to the rest of the class.

Ask students to answer the five questions. But don’t look at the reading text.
Instead, they use their background knowledge to try to answer the questions. As students work, walk around, looking at their progress.
When most students finish the task, ask students to answer the questions with a parter.
Elicit answers from the students. Ask if other students have the same or different answers. Do not give the correct answers to the students at this point. Wait until students have finished the reading and let them revise their answers accordingly.

Read the text quickly, then summarize each paragraph in your own words. As the students are doing this, move around the classroom to make sure they can do the task in English.

Ask students to complete the task individually or in pairs.

Ask students to read the article again for comprehension.
Read the instructions with the students and have them look at the example. Then ask students to match the correct meanings with the correct words and expressions. Allow them one or two minutes to do this.

Get students to make sentences with the words and expressions. Remind them to look at the article again for extra help.
Answers to this activity will vary. Then ask a students to write his/her answers on the blackboard. Help correct any mistakes.

Read the instructions to the class. Elicit the first answer from the students from memory. Make sure that they understand what they need to do.
