有理数的意义;正数和负数;有理数的加减;有理数的乘除;有理数的乘方.零是正数和负数的分界。
分数是由正分数和负分数组成的。
正数和分数统称为有理数(rational number)
有理数:正数:正整数、零、负整数

如果我们把正数看成是分母为1的分数,那么在这个意义下,所有的有理数都是分数。
数轴的定义:规定了原点、正方向和单位长度的直线叫做数轴。
任何一个有理数都可以用数轴上的一个点表示。
只有符号不同的两个数,我们称其中一个数为另一个数的相反数(opposite number),也称为这两个数互为相反数,零的相反数是零。
一个数在数轴上所对应的点与原点的距离,叫做这个数的绝对值(absolute value)
一个正数的绝对值是它本身。
一个附属的绝对值是它的相反数。
零的绝对值是零。
正数大于零,零大于负数,正数大于负数。
两个负数,绝对值大的那个数反而小。有理数加法法则:
同号两数相加,取原来的符号,并把绝对值相加。
异号两数相加,绝对值相等时和为零,绝对值不相等时,其和的绝对值为较大绝对值减去较小的绝对值所得的差,其和的符号取绝对值较大的加数的符号。
一个数同零相加,仍得这个数。
有理数加法的运算律
交换律:a+b=b+a 结合律:(a+b)+ c=a+(b+c)有理数的减法法则

两数相乘,同号得正,异号得负,并把绝对值相乘。
任何数与零相乘,都得零。

1、用字母x、y、等表示所要求的未知的数量,这些字母称为未知数。含有未知数的等式叫做方程(equation)。在方程中,所含的未知数又称为元。
为了求得未知数,在未知数和已知数之间建立一种等量关系式,就是列方程。
2、如果未知数所取的某个值能使方程左右两边的值相等看,那么这个未知数的值叫做方程的解(solution of equation)
3、只含有一个未知数且未知数的次数是一次的方程叫做一元一次方程(linear equation in one variable)
4、等式性质1:等式两边同时加上(或减去)同一个数或一个含有字母的式子,说得结果仍是等式。
等式性质2:等式两边同时乘以同一个数(或除以同一个不为零的数),所得结果仍是等式。
5、去括号的法则是:括号前带“+”号,去掉括号时括号内各项都不变符号。括号前带“—”号,去掉括号时括号内各项都改变符号。
6、解一元一次方程的一般步骤是: 去括号; 化成ax=b(a≠0)的形式
