09浙江高考英语试题评析及其对教学的启示

紧张的高考已经告一段落,高考对于高三学生来说是个结束,但是对于任课老师来说,却是个开始,如何研究新高考英语题型,从高考试题中发现出题者的意图,从而调整英语教学的重点,把握教学的方向,这是每位英语课任教师必须要做的事情。

纵观全卷,2009年浙江高考英语卷无论在命题设计、难易程度、题量、题型等方面与2008年的试卷相比,都体现了稳中有变、稳中求发展的命题原则。从全市的统计分数上看(全市平均分比去年低了4.5分),总体难度比去年稍难;从试卷上看,主要体现在完形填空部分。整份试卷在考查了各项英语基础知识的同时,更侧重考查考生对篇章的整体理解能力和语言的综合运用能力。具体体现在:

单项选择题——设题灵活,覆盖面广。

今年的阅读题比去年稍难,主要体现在阅读的长度和词汇量的增加两个方面,正像我们在考前所预测的那样,在减少了卷面总分而考试时间保持不变的情况下,阅读的长度和词汇量都会有所增加。而且考纲中规定的在试卷中允许出现3%的生词,大多出现在阅读理解中。主要体现在两个方面:第一是阅读第一节整体阅读量有所增加;第二是阅读第二节在理解难度上有所提高。

先看阅读第一节部分。今年的文章体裁分布为:记叙文两篇,应用文一篇,说明文一篇,夹叙夹议一篇,整体分布偏重记叙文,所以在阅读量上有所增加,从而增加了考试难度。再看题型:逻辑题六道,细节题八道(含词汇题),主旨题三道,推理题三道。逻辑题在阅读题型里属于难度系数比较高的题,比较容易导致考生失分。

再看阅读第二节部分。今年的功能性阅读文章是比较出乎预料的,由于去年的真题和今年的考试说明上的功能性阅读文章非常容易,都属于送分题。因此很有可能很多考生对这个部分都没有放注意力,但是今年由于题型本身已经不再是简单的一一对应,而是要求考生在读懂选项内容的基础上,在通过逻辑判断对应问题,这对阅读量的速度和理解力提出了更高的要求,所以在第二节考生会比平时多花点精力。

综上所诉,09年高考英语阅读对考生的要求在阅读速度和理解力上都有比较高的要求。考生不仅要在有限的时间内阅读比较多的英文文章,同时也必须要有一定的思考力和理解力。

从今年的阅读部分,我们还能得到下面的启发:注重英语基础能力的培养,在高一和高二阶段要注重单词量的积累和科学的阅读习惯和方法,并进行有争对性的练习,培养既能准确把握文章的整体主旨,理清文章内部的逻辑关系,又能迅速寻找细节的能力,才能在高考的时候胸有成竹,随时应变。

改错题——过渡平稳,不难得分。

一篇105词的短文排成6行,共有10处错误。革除了原来10行9处错的模式(往年10行中有一行是正确的)。今年考题中的10处错误都是围绕学生在平时的书面表达中容易犯的常见错误,恰到好处地反映了学生的实际。今后在教学中培养学生在语言表达上的敏感度是非常重要的。

书面表达题——题材新,不易得高分。

今年的书面表达一改最近三年来的议论文形式,而改成了新闻报道。这个话题非常顺应崇尚感恩、敬老等的社会大环境,把英语写作落到了实处。本来对于这类话题,学生并不陌生,也有话可说,但是,要写好却不太容易。就这么点提示,要全靠考生自己去思考和

组织语言,要用上恰当的词汇和句型也并非易事,而且基础不太好的同学会觉得词数写不够,或没什么好词好句可写,所以要得高分并不容易。

从今年高考书面表达阅卷统计数据显示:满分30分,省平均分为14.8分,而且得分在24分以上的比例极小,29分的只有6份,满分的没有。仅这一显示说明:书面表达的挖掘空间还很大。书面表达客观地反映出一个学生真实的英语语言能力水平。书面表达不是孤立存在的,它来源于听说读写的整个教学环节;书面表达也不是一蹴而就的,不是考前一两个月的任务,它贯穿于高中三年的教学中。然而,目前较普通的现象是把写作教学只看成高考应考的一项措施,其结果是,高中英语写作能力在高

一、高二得不到充分培养,相反全压缩到高三阶段才受到师生的急切重视,可这时的训练往往是急于求成,头脚并医,“突击”提高,最后收效甚微,达不到中学教学大纲的要求。以上现象已反映出高中英语写作教学问题的“症结”:写作训练环节不够,语言基本功薄弱,训练方法单一,写作能力得不到及时培养,写作思维得不到正常开发。要改变目前普遍存在的书面表达教学“发育不足”的问题,既要适应高考,又要立足于今后的发展和需要,必须系统形成高中整体写作教学训练模式化。简单来说,写作的教学应该改变目前的放任式教育,分“词-词块-句子-意群-段落-篇章”6个层次来进行写作教学,即由让学生能够用恰当的词写出正确的句子开始,再逐渐过渡到由句子组织成意群,由意群组织出段落,最后才有能力写好一篇文章。

另外,在参加阅卷的过程中,笔者也与其他的阅卷教师进行过交流,总结出大家的几点共识: 1)对基础错误的“零容忍”:对于例如诸如are went,high two three in 5.01等等现象,认为这样的词汇出现分数就不可能高,哪怕整篇文章写得也还可以;;

2)考生应该绝对避免生搬硬套写作模板或写作套路; 3)卷面书写美观很重要,尤其是高中三年片刻都不能忽视对学生英语书写的训练。

自选模块-----------加大任务性阅读考查的深度和广度

自选模块为两个任务性阅读理解题,重在深层次理解和综合表达,以及英语基本知识在具体语境中的实际应用。

第一题(即05题)阅读理解任务有二:其一,选择所给选项补全所给短文中的空白处。做此题的关键是读懂原文,理清文章脉络,确立语境及上下文关系。只有如此,才能做出正确选择。其二,根据短文所给信息,用一个完整的句子回答问题——实际就是复述文中划线句子意义。根据原文,尤其是本句意义,作简短复述应该不难,难就难在必须语句通顺,且要达意。

自选模块的第二题(即06题)为阅读填空,事实上,本题为完形填空和语法填空的结合体。所填内容包括:一是根据上下文猜测文中必要词汇;二是根据上下文写出括号中所给动词的正确形式。

该短文为美文欣赏类短文,文字浅显易懂,故事逻辑性强,与学生生活有关,富有教育意义。本题中的两个任务,考生应该较容易完成。

对今后高中英语教学的启示:

新试题以篇章为主,情境化强,开放性大,进一步凸显了语言运用能力考查的特点,说明英语的学习和复习备考都应以语言能力发展为指向,而不是主要把英语当成知识体系来学习。一些新的测试题型,如语法填空、信息匹配、任务性写作、阅读表达、开放性写作等,初步显示了对语言能力考查的深度。完成这些任务,靠的是扎实的基础和充分的实践,而不是靠一味研究高考题型和应试技法。

要提高学生语言运用能力,就要认真贯彻《课程标准》。《标准》指出,高中英语课程的总目标是“培养学生的综合语言运用能力。综合语言运用能力的形成建立在语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养整合发展的基础上”。为了有效培养学生的综合语言运用能力,英语教学应该做到以下几点。

首先,树立正确的英语教学观念。《标准》主张,不能把英语语言单纯看作一个知识体系进行教和学,而应该强调让学生在语言活动中学习语言知识、发展语言能力。语言知识学习应该在各种思维训练活动、交际活动和社会实践活动中进行。如学习英语词汇最有效的办法是在句子、文章等语境中学习单词,注意扩大阅读量。关于语法知识,教学的重点是培养语法意识,而不是单纯记忆语法规则。教学中应注意引导学生通过观察、归纳、对比、总结等方法发现语法规则,并给学生提供运用这些语法规则的机会。

其次,应进一步加强对学生听、说、读、写等技能训练,有效发展语言运用能力。四省区的高考试题都依据《标准》对语言技能提出了更高的要求。听和读是输入,是理解技能;说和写是输出,是表达技能。大量教学和考试实践证明,学生语言能力发展状况与输入的量和质有很大关系。课堂内外应加大听和读的输入,以便学生增强语感、内化知识,有效地发展综合语言能力。当前中学生英语学习的普遍问题是输入相对不足,特别是教师在课堂上讲解语言知识的时间过多,学生失去了自主体验、自主发展的机会。同时,学生的课外学习时间用于做大量高考模拟练习,学生喜欢、水平适当的听读材料普遍缺乏,影响语言技能的发展。这些现状应该尽快改变。提高听、说、读、写训练的数量和效率既是落实《标准》的基本保证,也是应对高考的关键性策略。

再次,加强对学生学习策略的指导,关注学生情感态度和文化意识的培养。教师应多花时间和精力帮助学生掌握并运用学习方法,如单词学习根据读音规则记忆拼写,根据构词法和单词所在情境猜测单词的词类和词义,根据同义词、反义词进行对比记忆等。再如,要帮助学生掌握搜集和利用资源的策略等。现实生活是英语学习的最佳教材,要引导学生树立“英语在生活中无处不在”、“英语就在身边”的意识,在生活中自觉地发现英语、体验英语和运用英语。此外,《标准》要求教学中关注学生的情感态度和文化意识,而且高考试题也体现了对情感态度和文化意识的考查,是教学中应加以重视的。

具体到实际操作中,结合英语本身的特点,有以下两点需要强调:由于英语对于我们来说都是非母语,在生活中我们缺乏英语的语言环境,因此:

1)教师应该在课堂中创造全英语的语言环境,以此来培养学生英英思维的能力;

2)在高中阶段我们尤其要重视学生的语言输入;我们必须要保证学生接受英语语言的时间与数量;时间方面我们要保证学生有充足的读英语和听英语也即早、晚读的时间以及听力训练的时间;在数量方面我们需要学生要有一定数量的课外阅读。

因为只有通过听、读的大量输入之后学生才有说与写的输出能力,而输出能力体现在高考中最主要的就是写作的能力。

另外还有教材的问题:现行的新课标教材确实要求太高,高到编者们都认为现在的初中毕业生在进入高中之前都已经百分之百地掌握了初中阶段所有的英语知识;殊不知很多高一学生甚至连音标都还不会。这样一来,就给我们高中教师很大的挑战。因此我们必须要对教材进行二次创作,改编出适合自己学生的一套东西。尤其是对新教材中的听力部分我们要大胆地进行取舍,建议运用与PETS二级听力相配套的资料来组织听力训练。这就要求我们要充分认识到教材只是一种载体,要充分、合理地利用教材但不拘泥于教材来全面培养学生的听说读写译的能力。在高一新学期必须重视初、高中的知识以及学习习惯的衔接,高一高二年级要坚持听说读写并重,还应该让学生积累词汇,扩大阅读视野。

1)教师应该在课堂中创造全英语的语言环境,以此来培养学生英英思维的能力; 2)在高中阶段我们尤其要重视学生的语言输入;我们必须要保证学生接受英语语言的时间与数量;时间方面我们要保证学生有充足的读英语和听英语也即早、晚读的时间以及听力训练的时间;在数量方面我们需要学生要有一定数量的课外阅读。

因为只有通过听、读的大量输入之后学生才有说与写的输出能力,而输出能力体现在高考中最主要的就是写作的能力。

另外还有教材的问题:现行的新课标教材确实要求太高,高到编者们都认为现在的初中毕业生在进入高中之前都已经百分之百地掌握了初中阶段所有的英语知识;殊不知很多高一学生甚至连音标都还不会。这样一来,就给我们高中教师很大的挑战。因此我们必须要对教材进行二次创作,改编出适合自己学生的一套东西。尤其是对新教材中的听力部分我们要大胆地进行取舍,建议运用与PETS二级听力相配套的资料来组织听力训练。这就要求我们要充分认识到教材只是一种载体,要充分、合理地利用教材但不拘泥于教材来全面培养学生的听说读写译的能力。在高一新学期必须重视初、高中的知识以及学习习惯的衔接,高一高二年级要坚持听说读写并重,还应该让学生积累词汇,扩大阅读视野。
