英语写作教学的含义与类别
英语写作是目的性很强的社会行为。写作，是人类的一项社会实践活动，其目的性很强。任何形式的写作都寄寓着写作者的细想情感、观点和主张。在语言应用综合技能中，写作对学习者的要求最高，它不仅要求学习者必须具有充分的语言基础知识，具有用外语遣词造句、熟练掌握拼写、标点等写作基本功，而且还需要具备能以外语思维方式创造性地、合乎逻辑地表达思想的能力。
使用外语写作无论是作为一种学习技能还是一种职业技能都是外语教学中的重要一环。国外学者Murray（1980）、Raimes（1983）、Richards（1990）将英语写作教学分为两大类。一类是注重结果式的写作教学：它反映了听说法的教学思想，它将鼻头看作是口头语的书面形式，是用来强化“说”的手段，目的是使口头表达有准确的句法和词法形式。在初级阶段，笔头练习通常是被作为学习语法和词汇的手段，如抄写单词，变换句型、连词造句、连句成段等等。执行这种模式的教学步骤往往是先阅读范文，够分解文章或句子结构，再仿照范文写作。常见的练习形式是‘带控制性’或‘指导性的’规范写作。例如，给出语法框架让学生作局部的填空或替换；利用现成的大纲或梗概进一步扩展成文；利用现成的图像、表格或其他提示写成文等等。注重结果的写作教学可以循环渐进地培养学生连词成句、连句成段、合段成章的写作能力，使学生学会使用多种句法形式、修辞手段和篇章结构来应付未来各种写作的需求。
另一类是注重过程的写作教学：它把重点放在培养写作者本人及其写作过程中的各种策略和认知能力。它反映了近年来对写作的研究动向：如观察描写学生的写作过程；在写作前和写作后与作者交谈了解他们在完成某项写作任务过程中如何处理各个阶段出现的问题；系统地对学生的作文进行历时性分析从而发现其发展进步的轨迹；从人文的角度研究写作课堂教学的过程等等。国外学者Diaz，Moll 和Mehan（1987）在对外语学生写作的个案研究中发现注重过程的写作教学的以大特点就是把课堂教学从以往的以语言知识为中心转移到以学习者为中心，即学生根据选题的需要亲身参与社会调查，收集当地资料，经过分析写成文章；而教师则总结该过程中所需要的知识、技能、策略和经验作为进一步教学的源泉。Murray（1980）把写作过程分为了三个阶段：（1）酝酿阶段：在酝酿阶段主要是帮助学生启动写作的思路，形成写作计划以及激发写作动机和积极性。（2）写作阶段：在初稿写作阶段，学生们要将第一阶段的结果转化为文章各部分或段落的文字，这时要着重考虑的是写给谁看，为什么写及用什么形式来表达的问题。（3）修改阶段：在修改阶段，学生们要听取同学、小组、老师的反馈意见，对文章进行修改。

写作教学在英语教学中非常重要，是学生学以致用的体现。而帮助学生利用所学英语知识正确地表达所思所想，某描写所见所闻方法尤为重要。目前初中英语教学的书面表达相对滞后，学生的写作水平提高甚微，究其原因是多方面的：（1）汉语影响、生词造句；（2）词汇贫乏、搭配不当；（3）句型误用、语法不通；（4）信息不全、条理紊乱。下面，我就结合自己实际教学实践，谈谈初中英语写作教学。
一、从基本词组、句型入手。
英语写作能力的培养和提高也是这样，并非一蹴而就的。它必
须由浅入深，由易到难，循序渐进，一环扣一环地进行。教师应注重抓基本功的训练。严格要求学生正确、端正、熟练地书写字母、单词和句子，并注意大小写及标点符号；在写作训练时，必须坚持“句-段-篇” 这样的模式来开展和深化。(1)组词成句训练
英语的句子类型有四种，即陈述句、你问句、祈使句和感叹句。我让学生牢记这些句子 基本结构，在此基础上用合适的词或词组套入该结构，并注意人称、数及时态的问题。当然，组句训练时鼓励学生用最简单的短句，只要能基本上达意即可。
(2)组句成段训练
教师可设置一些情景，并帮助学生围绕这一情景将其具体化。例
如写“My family”时，我指导学生写出： There are three people in my family.They are my father,my mother and I.My father is a worker.My mother is a teacher.I am a student of Middle School.We are very happy.在整理成段后，可帮助学生总结出特定的情景下写作的思路及句子之间的过渡和承接等的规律。这样,学生在练习或考试时碰到相似的情景时,就不会感到束手无策了.(3)组段成篇
即将内容有关联的段落组成一个篇章的形式，仍以上例为证。教师可结合使用一般过去时，一般将来时等语法，让学生写出更长的段落来；还可融入完成时及被动时态等的使用。这样层层递进，自然就可以拓展文章的篇幅与深度了。
二、听写
听写是一种有效提高写作能力的手段。对于课文中出现的重点句型及子，教师可以进行定期的听写练习。让学生对于词组或句型的使用场合有一定的感性的认识。这样，在写作中碰到相同或相似的情景时，学生就可以模仿书上的句子进行写作，而不是凭空捏造。同时，必要的听写训练也有助于他们的听力水平的提高。
三、复述或改写课文
这是帮助学生记忆和巩固课文内容的有效手段，也是培养写作技巧的重要途径。借助文字、图、物等帮助学生复述课文，可以帮助学生消化课文的内容。要求学生把课文中的人称、时态、语法、体裁等加以变化。如把对话改为故事；直接引语改为间接引语等。使复述更加灵活多样，生动有趣。
四、教师批改和学生互批
教师的写作教学应该从实际情况出发，顾及到各层次的学生，佳作点评和错例纠正都是写作教学过程中不可缺少的环节。教师点评恰当，可以使学生意识到在学习书面表达过程中的成功之处，并得到激励，建立自信，从而形成继续进步的动力，也可以让学生自省和反思自己的不足，调整学习策略和心态。文章写成后除了教师批改外，学生相互也可进行修改，检查单词拼写、词汇和语法是否运用正确、开头和结尾是否自然，文章格式是否到位等，在相互合作、共同修改的过程中，学生就能不断完善自己的作文，逐步提高写作能力。
在英语写作教学中，教师除了合理而有效地使用教材外，还应积极利用其他课程资源，如网络和报刊杂志等。英文报刊色彩斑斓，图文并茂，文字浅显且富有时代气息，内容多是一些贴近学生生活并让学生感兴趣的话题，如名人轶事和时事新闻等，能满足学生的好奇心和求知欲。让其养成课外多读的好习惯。因为多读可以帮助他们吸收丰富的词汇、语法；了解英语特有的表达法及习惯用语，他们的思维习惯和社会文化背景及风土人情等。
通过本次学习，让我明白要在重视对学生进行听、说、读的训练基础上，重视写的训练。提高学生写作能力的方法是多种多样的，只要老师能面对现实，以学生的实际出发，平时注重加强写作训练，学生的写作能力一定会有大幅度的提高。
