四、教学过程 Step1: Lead-in(导入)同学们,今天这节课给大家上一节专题课---语法填空解题技巧,通过几次考试情况来看,试卷的二卷部分是大家的软肋,大部分同学失分严重,这从侧面反映出同学们的英语基本功不够扎实,词汇积累的匮乏以及对新题型的不适应。那么今天这节课就是要解决其中一个问题,让大家了解并掌握语法填空题到底是考察什么内容以及怎样做这一类题。
Step2: 语法填空题考察内容和解题思路
1.考察内容:语法填空以要求根据上下文填入一个以动词(verb)(或其适当形式)、名词(noun)、代词(pronoun)、冠词(article)、介词(prep.)、情态动词(modal verbs)、连词(conj)或引导词、形容词(adj.)和副词(adv.)考查各项语法内容。2.三个解题思路:
纯空格试题:一般考察冠词,连词,代词和介词

语法填空考情分析和给2014届考生备考的建议
2013年广东省高考的语法填空题考查的语法现象主要包括:连接词(固定搭配)、关系代词、介词、词形变化、冠词和动词的用法。总体来说,难度比去年低,语法以外的其他制约因素也较少,所以考生比较好把握。
从成绩来看,这道题的平均分为7.17,比去年高0.8分。及格率为43.89%。其中得满分的考生有19351,约占2.85%;零分考生47989,约占7%;得分10.5的考生比例最大,有77731,占11.45%,其次是9分、12分和13.5分,分别为75810、71539和53516,约占11.17%、10.54%和7.89%。其它分数点如1.5、3、4.5、6、7.5和13.5分的得分人数比较平均,都在5或6万以上。
从考生答题情况来看,错误率最高的是介词的用法,尤其是其中与price搭配的介词,即使是得分高的考生也出错。今年考题考查了两个介词的搭配,其一是sell … at a lower price。根据英语本族语使用者的语料,另一个可供选择的答案是for。但奇怪的是很多考生包括不少高分考生(13.5)都用in或者with。另一个考查的介词是中学语法里规定的show respect for, 另一个正确答案是show respect to,考生对这个介词搭配的掌握比较好,填to的考生似乎更普遍。
其次,词形变化出错的比例也很高,尤其是possible的副词形式possibly,虽然大多数考生了解形容词加后缀-ly变成副词这个规则,但对于形容词加副词后缀-ly的特殊形式的拼写没有掌握好,所以出现了五花八门的拼写。有些考生因为对不同词形变化的词性概念模
糊,填了名词形式possibility。另外,对于形容词后缀的用法不太明确,所以出现了reasonable的拼写错误,如reasonal或 reasonalble, 还有不少考生忽略了上下文的语境,纯粹为了词形变化而变化,填unreasonable。
这次考查的动词用法相对比较简单,包括动词过去时态found和动词ing形式thinking的用法,大多数考生答得不错,即使得分很低的考生也很少在这里丢分。但也有很多考生对于动词过去式的特殊形式没有掌握好,套用动词加-ed的一般规则,于是频频出现finded这类“过度概括”的错误。
一般来说,将语法知识融入语篇的语法填空题主要考查学生的语篇和句子结构的分析能力、语法的掌握和应用能力以及单词拼写的掌握。因此,考生在复习备考中应注意以下几点:
1.通过提高阅读能力来提高语法能力。有意识地训练理解语篇的能力,养成联系上下文语境和线索来判断连贯语义的习惯;熟练掌握各种语篇衔接手段的应用,包括各类逻辑连接词及其固定搭配,从而理解材料各句之间的内在联系。
